Easter Baskets Stampin' Up! Style

Here's a little something that I've been working. These are for my family in CA for Easter. I made a bunch of baskets like this for Valentine's Day for family & friends here at home and they went over really well. Hope the folks in CA like them. Naturally I'll have goodies in them when I give them, but chocolate melts in car so I'll have to wait on that part until I get to CA. ;)

The little chicks are from the Everybunny clear mount stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Just love that little chick. These are for the women. The purple one is especially for my niece who loves purple.

Now the guys, they get this deranged Easter bunny. He's an old stamp I had. He just makes me laugh - a lot like the men in my family. LOL

If you'd like to know how to make these cute little baskets, just leave a nice comment for me along with your email address and I'll pop those directions right off to you. Here's what you'll need:

Happy Saturday!

  1. Here's the directions Cheryl:
    for a small box -
paper 6x6, score 2 inches on all sides. At the corners score at a diagonal thru the square up to the corner score line. Fold along your score lines. Using pattern paper of your choice cut 1 3/4" x 1 3/4", cut 8 pieces, 4 of these you will need to cut from corner to corner to form triangles. These will be your pieces that will go inside the area that folds in. Adhere all your pattern paper BEFORE punching your holes. Once your paper is adhered. Fold up your box. Inside the box there will be points from where you folded it in - you will punch a hole in each one - being careful NOT to punch on the fold. Once the holes are punched you can secure your box with either a large ring or ribbon. Fill and enjoy!
